I really need your help because I'm trying to avoid formatting the laptop. Here's the log from Sophos Anti-Rootkit's scan. Although I can't use the browser for some minutes, I can use poker software. I keep getting a slow connection when I first turn on the computer but eventually the connection is restored at full speed some of the times. So I tried GMER, but it doesn't recognize wtxtg.sys as a service file (it describes it as a "?" file) so I couldn't disable it nor delete it. The problem is that the file couldn't be cleaned up. Eventually, I backuped what I need to backup and tried to clean up wtxtg.sys file, although Sophos suggested I shouldn't. Some temp files also popped up and, even though the program suggested I shouldn't clean them up, I did and they're gone (some temp files keep popping up every now and then as "unknown hidden files"). It points out the same file, thought it doesn't identify it as Qandr Rootkit (it just says it's an unknown hidden file). Avast says I have Qandr Rootkit in a system32/driver file called wtxtg.sys, but it couldn't remove it (a device connected to the sistem is not working). Someone suggested Avast and that's when things got weirder. I scanned my computer with AVG, nothing came up. I thought it was a network problem so I contacted my internet provider and after working the router definitions, we came to the conclusion that it wasn't a network problem. I'm running Windows 7 and I couldn't get any browser (IE, Firefox or Chrome) to open any domain and everything was just very slow. For 3 weeks, my computer started to acted weird.
